Much of the technology dealing with security has more to do with protecting connectivity data from hackers or mitigating the possibility of vehicular theft in their fleets.
As car connectivity becomes more the norm and as the technology gets more sophisticated more of these vehicles will be vulnerable to some form of cybercrime.
